Double Award Win for EMS at the British Chamber Business Awards
28 June 2015
EMS has been awarded not one, but two Regional British Chamber Business Awards. The Awards are a highlight of the business calendar, paying tribute to the key role that local businesses play in driving the UK economy.
As winners of The Small Business of the Year (less than 75 full-time employees) and High Growth Business of the Year Awards, EMS will go forward to represent the Yorkshire Region in the national finals in London in November as well as competing for the prestigious title of National Business of the Year.
Jill Thomas, 2016 President of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce said:
“It is great news and a pleasure to present Environmental Monitoring Solutions Limited with not one but two Regional Awards! The Awards are testament to the hard work of the EMS team. On behalf of Sheffield Chamber, I would like to wish EMS the very best of luck in November for the National Awards. No doubt they will do a brilliant job representing the business community in Sheffield.”
Pete Skipworth, Managing Director at EMS said:
“We’re delighted to have won two Regional Awards. Thanks to everyone’s hard work and tenacity, EMS have demonstrated strong business performance, customer service and innovation in our solutions and delivery. We’re looking forward to the National Awards and the future for our business.”
Francis Martin, President of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) said:
“Businesses are the driving force of the UK economy. Their creativity, hard work and acumen are what makes us one of the world’s strongest and most resilient economies, and they deserve recognition for the crucial role that they play. Our judging teams across the country are consistently impressed by the number of high calibre entrants in the awards, and this year’s competitors are no different.
The Chamber Business Awards are the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate our business community’s achievements, to take stock of the outstanding performances of UK businesses over the past year, and to encourage and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.”
