EMS Welcomes Dr Sonja Ostojin to the Team
24 August 2014
We are pleased to announce that Dr Sonja Ostojin has recently joined the EMS team as Research and Development Manager. Sonja has a wide range of experience in the water industry, including work in areas such as data and control systems, pumping control algorithms within waste water networks and software development.
As EMS’ new Research and Development Manager, Sonja will be managing a project that sees the development of a new and innovative water quality measurement technology called MagMEMS.
MagMEMS devices are magnetoelastic resonant structures that can be used to measure the presence and concentration of substances within a liquid. Along with the University of Sheffield and experts at the Scottish Microelectronics Centre, EMS is working to further develop these technologies over the coming months.
